London Students’ Neuroscience Conference 2016
February 6, 2016 @ 8:00 am - February 7, 2016 @ 5:00 pm
6th and 7th February 2016
Imperial College London
LSNeuroN2016, taking place on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th February 2016, will showcase the very best neuroscience has to offer, with a busy programme of plenary speakers and smaller symposium and workshops, organised by each neuroscience society. Poster presentation sessions will enable anyone from undergraduate to PhD, to present their latest work, with prizes on offer for the best posters, as selected by expert judges.
As a unique collaboration between the neuroscience societies of five London universities, this meeting will provide a platform for UK students from many backgrounds to learn about, discuss, and present research ideas across the neurosciences.
Whether you are halfway through your PhD, are fascinated by the brain and considering heading into research, or are merely curious about a fast-growing and increasingly important scientific field, LSNeuroN2016 hopes to offer a fascinating, diverse, and rewarding experience.
This conference is geared directly towards students interested or involved in the field, and provides a unique opportunity to meet like-minded people from across London and the UK, to hear from world-leading researchers, learn new things, and have fun!
Keynote speakers will include Professor Colin Blakemore and Professor John O’Keefe, and symposia will cover a wide range of topics, from neurodegenerative diseases through computational neuroscience, to the influence of neuroscience on art.
